Maharishi's has released its Autumn/Winter 2020 lookbook. The London based label has delivered an deriving assemblage of reconstructed militarywear, a bold new look from its SS19 collection.
Exploring the customisation and decoration of military uniform following the forced conscription of tribal and indigenous peoples. Noteworthy pieces include the embroidered World Tribe Crew Sweat, detailed with a series of traditional Korean camouflage-inspired military patches. Another highlight is the 'World Tribe Deck Jacket' with high quality recycled polyester fleece lining and recycled polyester buttons. Referencing US Army patches, Hand-machined embroidery of tribal symbols acknowledges the conscription of indigenous people. It comes with an oversized cut, detailed with contrasting dull hardware patches, twin waist pockets and a large hoodless collar to round off its functional design. Other pieces like the Global Takeover L/S T-Shirt, Souvenir L/S T-Shirt, Upcycled Believe M53 Field Jacket, Cybernetic Samurai Snopants and MA20 Crew Sweat finalize the expansive range.
Maharishi’s Autumn/Winter 2020 collection is currently available on the label’s website, ranging from $80 – $1200 USD.
