Born June 14, 1993, Sergio Giavanni Kitchens better known by his stage name Gunna, is an American rapper from College Park, Georgia.
Raised by his mother along with four older brothers, Gunna has always had a way with music. He began making music at age fifteen and not long after that his music would reach nearly every speaker in the country.
In 2013, Gunna released his first mixtape Hard Body under the name Yung Gunna and was also introduced to Young Thug through a mutal friend by the name of King Troup, who later died in December 2015.
In 2016, Gunna released his debut mixtape Drip Season under his newly signed label YSL Records. Following the success of Drip Season, Gunna then released the mixtapes Drip Season 2 in mid-2017, then Drip Season 3 in early 2018.
Fast-Foward 2019, Gunna then peaked at the number 1 spot on Apple Music for his feature on Young Thug’s record “Hot” a single on Young Thug’s latest studio album “So Much Fun”.
The 26-year-old rap star has made waves across the music industry from working with legends in the game such as Mariah Carey, Usher, and more as well as becoming star in his own right. Over the past few years, he's blessed us with a ton of music but it looks like he's already to expand into other creative ventures. During the red carpet for BMI Awards, the rapper revealed that he's working on a few non-music projects.
