The Nike Air Edge 270 Arrives In Light Bone And Sapphire Green

Of all the silhouettes that Nike has hybridized with its proprietary Air Max 270 cushioning, arguably none have had a scarcer release cycle than the Air Edge 270. Debuted Spring 2019, the tall-silhouette combines all-day comfort with design nods to basketball sneakers of the ’90s, most notably Charles Barkley’s signature line. Complete with a velcro strap lacing system, uppers on this forthcoming pair revert back to their original leather, mesh, and synthetic arrangement after a brief stint in patent leather. Clad in “Light Bone” and tan, top-halves on the Air Edge 270 sit atop an equally muted midsole, but are accented by hits of a “Sapphire Green” on branding at the base of the laces and heel, as well as on the medial side right above the plump 270 Air unit. Take a closer look at this clean pair here below and expect a drop in the coming weeks for the usual $160 USD.
