The Nike Space Hippie 04 is gradually accumulating a larger release roster than its “wearable trash” counterpart as images of a new “Black/Volt” colorway have recently emerged.
While the Swoosh’s signature neon green isn’t new to the low-top silhouette, it’s previous appearance has been much more pronounced than on the forthcoming Space Hippie option. Knit uppers are clad in various shades of “Black,” with laces, tongue labels and pull tabs at the heel indulging in the darkest tones. The lateral swoosh camouflages into its surroundings, while the miniature logo on the medial forefoot contrasts the breathable construction underneath with its light grey makeup. Exposed Flywire cables along the profiles and further deviate from the pair’s predominantly muted upper with “Volt” flair; the rear of the collar opening and sockliners follow suit. Underfoot, Crater Foam cushioning boasts one of its lightest arrangements yet, which resembles that on a recent Air Force 1. Outsoles carry the speckled detailing too, but feature darker accents at the toe tip and heel.
Details of a Nike SNKRS launch are still unknown, but this Space Hippie 04 is likely to launch before 2020 ends. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair here below.
